Mattachine strikes again tomorrow!

The frisky party, founded by actor John Cameron Mitchell, occurs monthly at the ancient gay watering hole Julius.

I love the new flyer which features a very young Dee Dee Ramone (R.I.P.) photographed by the band’s gay manager Danny Fields.

The image also appears on a T-shirt promoting Mattachine’s West Coast tour which kicks off next month in Seattle.

Dee Dee Ramone—legendary rocker and queer sex symbol!

Gorgeous male model Andrej Pejic, who struts the runway in feminine frocks, may be the next reality TV star.

Nothing official has been announced, but supposedly the show will feature Pejic’s mama, who you just know will have an amazing thick Eastern European accent.

Brunch with the Pejics

MAMA PEJIC: Pejic, eat your goulash!

ANDJEJ: But, mama, I have to be thin for the Gaultier show!

Party promoter Susanne Bartsch has ruled Sundays nights in NYC for the past several years with her high-energy VanDam party at Greenhouse nightclub.

But things have been a little shaky lately.  First, the club gets temporarily shuttered after A-holes Chris Brown and Drake get into a violent hissy fit (on a Wednesday night).  And now Bartsch’s longtime “disco dungeon” hostess Ladyfag is jumping ship to start her own Sunday-night affair called Surprise!

Before the break up: Ladyfag and Susanne Bartsch

Susanne, who likes being in charge, cannot be pleased… Taking over Ms. Fag’s responsibilities will be nightlife denizen Jordan Fox.

A new biography of Mick Jagger details the gay love affair between him and fellow superstar rocker David Bowie!

Lovey dovey!

Darling, it was during the early 1970s glitter rock era, when sexual experimentation was quite chic.  In fact, Jagger slept with just about anything that moved back then—and so did Bowie, including transsexual disco star Amanda Lear.  Darn that the Sexual Revolution had to come to a crashing end!

Lastly, I came up with a trendy joke.  Like it?

What’s a four-letter word for forced sex?  SURI!

I'll sue!

Wowie-zowie, I can’t believe that after four amazing years(!) my Monday Night Bingo gig is coming to an end at Bowery Poetry Club.

Our final show is this coming Monday, July 16th.

Me on stage with enraptured players!

The night is going stronger than ever, but me and my cohost Murray Hill have to find a new home because Bowery Poetry Club is closing for a several-month renovation and then reopening in a partnership with the upscale Tribeca cabaret space Duane Park.

Another piece of NYC bohemia bites the dust…

Murray and I are looking around for another space and have been approached by several venues.  So Monday Night Bingo is definitely going to continue—Details to be announced soon!

But it’s sad to leave BPC which has been such a great home.  It’s been by far my most reliable drag gig ever!!!
