But for how long…?

Got a message from my  curator friend Adam Baran.

“We’d so appreciate if you could help us spread the word about our Monday night world premiere of the documentary Pay It No Mind: Marsha P. Johnson.  We’ll have Michael Musto introducing the film, and then a panel of Marsha’s friends and colleagues talking after the screening.”

My response:  Yes, I would be happy to!

Dear Queers, Activists and Amateur Historians,

We’d like to remind you about this month’s installment of Queer/Art/Film, the WORLD PREMIERE of PAY IT NO MIND: MARSHA P. JOHNSON.

Marsha P. Johnson was a revolutionary trans activist, Stonewall instigator, Andy Warhol model, drag queen, prostitute, starving actress, and Saint, as well as a downtown NYC fixture from the 1960’s through her too-soon demise in 1992.  Johnson persevered through a life embodied by her middle initial P, which stood for “Pay It No Mind.”  Tonight we’ll be presenting the very special world premiere of a powerful documentary by Michael Kasino and Richard Morrison.  We’ll also welcome Johnson’s friends and companions, including Randy Wicker, Agosto Machado, and Jimmy Camicia to discuss the near-forgotten legacy of this one-of-a-kind queen. You won’t want to miss this historical screening.

WHEN:  Monday, November 28th at 8:00pm

Barney’s department store bash celebrated the hatching of “Gaga’s Workshop,” a holiday boutique featuring collectable Lady G knick knacks.

Gaga was there—before I arrived!  From what I heard, she pretty much just walked in, then walked out.

But the party continued…

Iggy looking divine! Could Gaga ever pull off this look?

Celso looked divine! Could Gaga ever pull off this look?

Christophe (center) of the art collective Assume Vivid Astro Focus (who designed the workshop) wore a reflective material that wrecked havoc on photo taking. On the right are DJ Honey Dijon and my pal Edmundo.

Sophia Lamar dismissed the party as tired. How unusual for her to complain!

Designer Philippe Blond was blond.

Celso's eyes! Plus Peter and me.

I was getting fuzzy—time to go. Thanks Miss Gaga! Best of luck with your new shop!

On Sunday, I hightailed it again to Tranny Strip for a special event sponsored by Eros, the shemale escort site.

The big attraction was live appearances by some of the most popular Eros girls, including Jennifer Paris, who bills herself as “transsexual supermodel of the world.”

Her entrance to the party was quite grand.  Just as her name was announced from stage, she whisked in the front door and strutted through the crowd to the stage.

According to Jennifer’s website bio, she moved from California to New York when she was 14 and “signed a contract with one of the top modeling agencies.”

Perhaps.  But whatever the real story, she is quite arresting to see in person.  You can see her too if you got the buck$.

I was so wiped out yesterday from my three-nights-in-a-row Halloween marathon that I didn’t get around to posting my final pix until now.

For those of you keeping score, I started out on Saturday night in my always dependable clown suit.

I love circus animals!

On Halloween Eve, I was an alien sea-monster kind of gal.

Can you believe it, I ended up bringing home a really hot trannychaser! I told him I didn't have on makeup, but he was like, no problema!

For Halloween itself it was Devil Time!

Stopped at my friend Ann's for some posing.

I spent most of the night at the rock & roll party “Oh You Pretty Things” at Le Poisson Rouge and had an absolute blast.

Worship me, strange creatures!

Bring me another cocktail!

Today I came upon a Halloween costume pop-up store that was closing down.  Today was its last day, with all merchandise at 50% off.  The selection was spotty, but I ended up buying $60 worth of stuff!  There were some items I can wear anytime, like tights and false eyelashes, and the other stuff will make good Bingo prizes.  And it’s never too early to start planning next year…

(In honor of the sacred Halloween holiday, “Every Night in Drag” is postponed this week.  Updates continue next week.)

I couldn’t wait to start the Halloween festivities.  I’ve already gone out in costume two nights in a row!

Saturday’s snowstorm forced me to resort to an all-weather look.  So I grabbed my old reliable clown outfit with the honking rubber nose.

Occupy Clown Street!

I ended up at Xanadu, the roving dance party, which was held at a Manhattan loft space, up six flights of stairs!  The place was packed with tons of cute guys in all sorts of great get-ups.

The Swimming Pools performed a rousing set, with hostess Sylvia London joining Christophe (left) and Daniel on vocals. (Sylvia was a "man-eater," thus her crusty blood.)

I'm nuts for nun costumes!

Love the Leigh Bowery tribute! (Justin and Cory were grateful to me for helping them get boobs!)

And last night, Halloween Eve, I also opted to cover my face.

Woman of mystery.

I went to Tranny Strip at Evolve on East 58th, which was an absolute blast. For the costume contest I tied for first place with Amy Winehouse (my pal Cathy Valdez)! I won $40! I'm rich!

I celebrated with Jacko!

More Halloween shenanigans to come!
