One of the downfalls of having a blog is the guilt that comes when you don’t write for a few days. So I’m feeling guilty. Someday I’m going to make my blog the center of my entire life and write faithfully every day, hour, minute. But recently I haven’t found the time!  Everyday there’s so much to prepare…

In honor of Dick Clark’s death I’ve been watching old YouTube clips of American Bandstand, including this appearance by singer Teena Marie in 1978. I love the song, but if Teena had been lipsynching for her life she’d have beat Dick to the grave!

It was perfect drag weather last night as I traveled with a queenly pack in the East Village. Our compelling look caught the attention of some Russian tourists, and we engaged in lively group conversation. I love spontaneously meeting new people!  

As a longtime fan of Diet Coke, I simply can’t wait to sip from a bottle designed by fashion maestro Jean Paul Gaultier who’s the brand’s new creative director in Europe. Paris, here I come!
