Destination: Providence, Rhode Island. Mission: Emcee the annual drag pageant sponsored by Brown University and Rhode Island School of Design a.k.a. RISD. Little did I realize that the contestants would be so fierce, with many of the queens high-kicking to current dance hits in skin-tight leotards! On- and off-stage, everyone was sweet, and camaraderie reigned!
