What’s on my mind lately? The following:

*The Instagram account, “Rich Kids of Tehran.”

These wealthy brats make the cast of The Shahs of Sunset look tame, and definitely shatter the image of bleak Iran (and a lot of the guys are dreamy!)

*Speaking of hot… Actor Louis Garrel is bewitching in Saint Laurent, the latest flick about YSL. Garrel portrays Jacques de Bascher, who, in the 1970s, was the  lover of both Saint Laurent and his rival Karl Lagerfeld—at the same time. So French! (Too bad the film is kind of a mess.)

*My fave dress at the recent Met Gala hullabaloo was worn by model Joan Smalls at one of the many after-parties. She looks hot, too!

Sexy people rule the world.

Pace University’s Stonewall Coalition invited me back to participate in a recent event. This time around I hosted a variety show held in an incredible “Enchanted Forest” installation created by my friend Diego Montoya and his Baby Llama art collective.

And when I’m not in the woods, I’m walking the streets of the Lower East Side. I didn’t realize I looked like such a hooker!

Keeping it classy in New York City!

On my recent trip to California, I stayed in downtown Los Angeles, which is going through all sorts of gentrification. But you can still find plenty of old-fashion stores featuring some very flashy merchandise. Best window shopping I’ve done in years!

I’m so excited to be going to Los Angeles!

On Friday, April 3rd, at 7:30pm, at the West Hollywood Council Chambers, I’m going to be presenting my slideshow extravaganza The Drag Explosion, featuring photos I took of NYC’s momentous drag scene of the late 1980s and early ‘90s. It’s an informational and entertaining her-story lesson, narrated by moi!

The event is part of an exhibit organized by the Museum of Transgender Hirstory & Art (MOTHA) at the ONE Archives. Co-sponsoring the event is the queer experimental screening series Dirty Looks. This will be my first time presenting the slideshow outside of NYC.
